During the last weeks/months they had about twice as many empty gate in than empty gate out. Due to this situation, they have reached their capacity limits in Frenkendorf and they need to stop acceptance of all empty equipment as from 03.09.2018.
As the rhine terminals are also short of space they can only offer Swissterminal, Niederglatt as an option for empty returns.
Reefer equipment will be still accepted at Swissterminal locations in Basel, Birsfelden and Frenkendorf.
They will organize as much as possible space, to evacuate overstock equipment of existing bookings from Frenkendorf to sea port/inland Terminals.
If stock level reduced to normal level they will inform us in advance of re-opening of Swissterminal, Frenkendorf for empty returns.
