ATM has had its own crate factory since 2015, and offers customized industrial wood packaging suitable for all types of transport, whether for art objects, furniture, machinery or even one-off pieces. Numerous measures are taken to guarantee safe transport: stowing and wedging of materials, traceability of package integrity thanks to anti-shock and anti-return devices (checked at each stage of transport), or humidity stabilization.
All the wood we use for our crates is treated to ISPM 15 standards.
Single or multiple use.
We can offer both single-use and multi-use crates.
Multi-use crates are screwed instead of nailed, and fitted with clasps for easy, damage-free opening and closing. Protectors are also added to the parts most likely to be affected, so as not to have to change a complete wall and just replace the damaged part. This technique not only ensures that the crates last over time, but also reduces the cost of repairing them.

Moisture protection
When shipping by sea or air, it’s important to consider adding moisture protection. We offer the following solutions, which are also ideal for long-term storage:
- Thermally welded aluminum covers
Protective aluminum covers are used to evacuate goods to reduce air volume.
- VCI volatile corrosion inhibitor film or VCI volatile corrosion inhibitor foam
VCI diffuses a gas into the air, which is then deposited on the metal surfaces of a material to prevent corrosion.
- Salts
Salts are used to pump moisture and dehydrate the air.
